Running Buddy

We try to place each girl with a running buddy for the 5k event. A running buddy escorts a team of GOTR girls on the adventure of their first 5K run or 1 mile running event. They provide encouragement and lots of high-five's throughout the race and especially at the finish line.

Goals:

  • Encouragement and support for GOTR girls completing their first 5K or 1 mile running event
  • Have fun!

All volunteers must complete a background check. The form is located on www.aacounty.org/recparks
